Not quite, it's a Kākā parrot. The kākā are sometimes confused with the kea which larger, olive-green rather than olive-brown, and only found in the South Island. :)

Good take! Are these the guys that go around car parks trying to eat the rubber on car windscreens? I seem to remeber that when I visted NZ a few yeras ago.

Thanks :) You are probably talking about the kea parrots in the South Island, they are known to do that. They are bigger than kākā and olive-green :)
